What counts as a unit?+
A rentable space. A single-family home is 1 unit. A duplex is 2. Simple.
Do you take a cut of rent?+
No — Leaselyn takes $0 from your rent. The only deduction is Stripe's standard processing fee: 2.9% + $0.30 per card payment, or 0.8% capped at $5 per ACH transfer. On a $1,500 rent payment, Stripe takes $5 via ACH versus $43.80 via card — that's why most landlords nudge their tenants to ACH.
What are Stripe's fees, exactly?+
Cards: 2.9% + $0.30 per charge. ACH bank transfers: 0.8% capped at $5 per charge. These are Stripe's published US rates — same as you'd pay if you used Stripe yourself. We don't add a markup on top.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Self-serve, no phone call, no retention dance. If you cancel mid-month, we don't refund partial months.
What about 20+ units?+
Our self-serve pricing goes up to 20 units. If you have more, email us — we'll set up a custom plan while we build out the mid-market features.
Is my data safe?+
We use Stripe (PCI Level 1), Clerk (SOC 2), and Supabase Postgres with encryption at rest and row-level security. We never see or store card numbers.
Is there a mobile app?+
Leaselyn is a responsive web app — it works great on mobile browsers. Native iOS and Android are on the roadmap.
